Description
Altered Smith Wesson in .45ACP Caliber Mark II Hand Ejector 2nd Model Double Action Revolver 6 1/2″ Barrel
Manufactured from 1915 to 1917 for mostly the British and Canadian military markets. The revolver originally was in .455 Webley. This example has been heavily buffed and re-blued and has British markings on the left side of the frame to include a deaccession marking. There are no caliber markings visable, I believe it has been buffed off. The barrel is marked 7673 and the cylinder is marked 157893. Near excellent bore, locks up tight no cylinder end shake. I believe the cylinder is an original 45acp cylinder from a 1917 and not a shaved .455 cylinder.
