The Lee Precision Cutter and Lock Stud is the central component of Lee’s case trimming system, designed for reloaders who want a simple and precise way to control case length. This tool works in conjunction with a caliber-specific Lee Case Length Gauge and a standard shell holder (both sold separately). The lock stud holds the case, and the hardened cutter is guided by the gauge to trim the brass to a uniform length without any measuring. For faster trimming, the wooden handle can be removed, and the cutter can be used in an electric drill. This single tool can be used for numerous calibers simply by changing the case length gauge.
