The KWA AKG-74M is an ATF approved gas blowback AK style rifle that was designed to accurately simulate the AK platform. The KWA AKG-74SU is an immaculate gas blowback replica of the famous AKS-74U. Adopted in 1977 by Russian Special Forces, the AKS-74U has been the signature carbine used by GROM, Vympel, and MVD units for all close quarters environments. The KWA version features the exact same controls as its real-steel variant and a perfectly replicated external build. Details from the ribbed top cover, the 2/3 fire selector, and the AK side rail shows KWA’s attention to building only the best airsoft guns available. The external construction is full metal consisting of high-strength materials like aircraft-grade aluminum, steel, and glass-reinforced polymer. The AKG-74SU’s internals are full metal and mimic the operational movements found in the AKS-74U. The bolt assembly breaks down the same way and is operated by only a few moving parts. The trigger unit, bolt guide, and magazine well are reinforced to insure longevity. With the AKG-74SU, the term “Engineered to Outperform” is echoed every round fired.
