The Fightlite Industries MCR556DFRS is a specialized 5.56x45mm NATO dual-feed upper assembly for the AR-15 platform. It features a 12.50″ quick-change heavy steel barrel with a 1:7″ twist and 1/2″-28 threads. Precision machined from 7075-T6 billet aluminum with a Black Type III hardcoat anodized finish, this unit utilizes a short-stroke gas piston system for high reliability. The unique design allows for feeding from both M27 linked ammunition belts and standard magazines, complemented by a MIL-STD 1913 Picatinny rail and M-LOK handguard.Note: This upper features a dual-feed system that allows a standard AR-15/M16 lower receiver to function as a belt-fed weapon while retaining compatibility with standard box magazines.
