Description

This Flat Base Raptor™ was designed to be shot with or without the included Raptor Tips installed. These are excellent lever gun bullets without the tips installed and are designed to magazine feed with the tips installed in any bolt action rifle. The BBW#13 nose profile has proven to provide the deepest penetration of any nose profile to date. These bullets are manufactured out of solid brass bar stock on a CNC Swiss style lathe. Instead of mushrooming, these hollow points are designed so that after 1-2″ of penetration, 6 blades break off and radiate outward in a start pattern while the base continues on for even deeper penetration. The required twist rate for this bullet is 1:14″ or faster. A minimum impact velocity of 1500fps is required for the hollow point to function as intended.
