- A Martini-Cadet rifle manufactured by the Birmingham Small Arms Company. This is one of an estimated 83,000 rifles made by BSA and W.W. Greener between 1909-1949, with the left-hand side of the receiver stamped “Made By The Birmingham Small Arms Co. Ltd Trade Mark B.S.A.” and the right-hand side stamped “Commonwealth of Australia.”
- This rifle was issued in South Australia in September of 1911, with the butt stock bearing the date “9/11” and the text “C.M.F. S.A” (‘CMF’ being the abbreviation of Citizen Military Forces).
