Constructed of corrosion-resistant stainless steel and built on the Ruger New Vaquero frame, the New Vaquero is chambered in 44 magnum and has a shorter 3 3/4″ barrel that reduces size and weight plus improves holstering at a full gallop. Other new features include, a beveled cylinder for easier holstering, and wood grips. The Ruger New Vaquero retains the patented reverse-indexing pawl for ease of loading and unloading, transfer bar ignition and loading gate interlock, Ruger reliability. The Ruger New Vaquero comes with a case, lock and instruction manual. Actual revolver weight is 2.44 lbs.
