1976 was a hallmark year for the fly fishing world. It was then that Ted Juracsik introduced the first anti-reverse reel designated the Billy Pate. Since then Ted expanded the line to include six model sizes in either anti-reverse or direct drive. Unquestionably no other fly reel has matched this reel’s record for durability and dependability day in and day out, regardless of conditions, locale or species. It is designed and constructed to withstand the most demanding conditions, and as with all Tibor Reels, the Billy Pate is virtually maintenance free.
